Welcome to the Wulfdale smithy products page!

For a selection of wrought iron items produced at Wulfdale Smithy please choose from the links in the menu bar to the left of the page.


All items made at Wulfdale Smithy are completely hand-crafted using the age old techniques of blacksmithing. Little more than the forge, anvil, hammer and some good honest hard work are used. Great skill and care are taken to give the finished product an original and artistic look, whilst making sure the items function as intended. Depending of the nature of the item it can take many hours, days, or for larger items even weeks to complete. 

Being hand crafted it is obvious that each item is unique, from the smallest leaf to a garden gate no one else will have an item thats quite the same as yours!

The items and designs that are shown on this website are just a small selection, and new ones are being added all the time.  If you see something you like but want a variation on it, or a personalised touch, please contact Alex he will be happy to discuss this with you. Please note that pieces may differ slightly to the photographs due to the hand-crafted nature of the product.

Delivery will be by First Class standard parcel delivery, all items are well packaged. For specific delivery charges please see the relevant items or contact us. Please note as these items are crafted from iron they can be heavy and this is reflected in the delivery costs. Pick up can be arranged if desired. Please also allow upto 10 days for delivery.

Custom designs may require a consultation to ensure that the specific requirements are met. In this situation sketches will be provided to ensure that you are happy with all aspects of the design. A 50% non-refundable deposit may be necessary before starting the project to cover the ever increasing cost of materials etc.
